What you need
- A WhatsApp Business Platform account (not the regular app).
- A Meta Business Manager that owns the number.
- A number not already active on regular WhatsApp.
Steps
- Open
business.facebook.com then Business settings. - In the sidebar choose Accounts → WhatsApp accounts.
- Click Add, create the WhatsApp Business account, add the phone number and verify it.
- Under Users → Partners click Add partner and enter the business ID we send you.
- Grant the Manage WhatsApp accounts permission.
After connecting
We send a test message from the same number so you can confirm everything works, then set reply hours and the rules for handing over to a human.
We never ask for your account password. The connection uses a partner permission you can revoke at any time.
