Automatic translation: connecting OpenAI or OpenRouter

Instead of writing everything twice, translate your Arabic content into English with one click.

Getting a key

OpenAI: open platform.openai.com/api-keys → Create new secret key → copy it immediately (it is shown once).

OpenRouter: open openrouter.ai/keys → Create key. Its advantage is access to many models with one key.

Configuring it

General settings → Automatic translation:

• Provider: OpenAI or OpenRouter.
• Model: gpt-4o-mini is fast, cheap and good enough. For sensitive marketing copy, use a stronger model.
• Key: paste and save.

Using it

On any edit screen, press Translate to English. The system reads the filled Arabic fields and fills their English counterparts.

Important notes

• Always review the translation before publishing. Machine translation is good but not infallible, especially with product names and numbers.
• The key is stored in your own database and never reaches the browser.
• Translation costs money on your own provider account — watch your usage there.
• If you leave an English field empty, the site shows the Arabic text instead of rendering an incomplete page.
